A career shaped by people, brands and behaviour.
I have spent over 25 years working across advertising, marketing and the corporate world, building brands, leading teams and navigating the many transitions that come with a career.
Over the years, I have worked with different businesses, people and organisational cultures. I have experienced the excitement of building something new, the complexity of leading through change and the realities of working in environments where expectations, relationships and priorities are constantly evolving.
These experiences have shaped the way I look at work and, more importantly, at people.
Beyond the obvious
My interest has always extended beyond what people do to understanding why they do it.
What shapes our choices? Why do we sometimes hold back even when we know we are capable of more? How do our experiences, assumptions and the environments we operate in influence the way we think and respond?
My interest in behavioural science grew from these questions. Through Between Lines, I explore the often unseen influences on our behaviour, particularly in the workplace, and how understanding them can help us make more conscious choices.
From experience to coaching
Having spent much of my career in leadership roles, I understand the realities of the corporate world. I also know that navigating change is not simply about acquiring new skills or finding the right answers. It often requires us to pause, examine our assumptions and understand what is happening within us.
This is what drew me to coaching.
I have completed my Professional Certified Coach training through the International Coaching Federation, with my credential currently in progress. My coaching work brings together my professional experience, my interest in human behaviour and my belief in the value of creating space for reflection.
I work in partnership with individuals as they navigate professional and personal transitions, make sense of their circumstances and find their own way forward.
Learning has always been part of the journey
Alongside my corporate career, I have spent over a decade teaching at KJ Somaiya Institute of Management Studies and Research. I also served on the Board of Studies for its Postgraduate Communication Programme.
Teaching gave me another perspective on learning, leadership and the importance of questioning what we take for granted. It continues to influence how I approach conversations, coaching and the sharing of ideas.
Between Lines
Between Lines brings these interests together.
It is a space to explore behaviour, leadership, workplace culture and the experiences that shape the way we see ourselves and the world around us.
Through coaching, conversations, writing and learning experiences, I hope to encourage people to look beyond the obvious, question familiar patterns and discover possibilities they may not have considered.
Because sometimes, a different way of seeing things is where change begins.
